Orton-Gillingham Associate and Reading Specialist
15+ Years in Literacy & Reading Intervention
Learning to read can change the course of a child’s life. Strong reading skills build confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.
Reading Potential provides individualized, structured literacy instruction grounded in the Science of Reading and guided by Orton-Gillingham principles. Instruction is explicit, systematic, diagnostic, multisensory, and responsive. Each lesson is carefully planned and continually adjusted based on your child’s progress, providing the targeted instruction they need to become a stronger, more confident reader.
How Reading Potential Can Help

Individualized Tutoring
One-on-one instruction begins with understanding your child, not simply following a program. Each lesson is carefully planned and continually adjusted based on your child’s progress and response to instruction.
Targeted teaching.
Individual progress.

The Orton-Gillingham Approach
Orton-Gillingham is an explicit, multisensory approach to reading instruction. Teaching is diagnostic and responsive, with skills carefully sequenced, practiced, and reviewed as your child progresses.
Structured. Explicit. Responsive.

Is This Right for My Child?
Specialized reading instruction may help if your child struggles with letter sounds, decoding unfamiliar words, reading accurately or fluently, spelling, or retaining previously taught skills.
Especially helpful for struggling readers and children with dyslexia.
